DRAWINGS (SPOOKY ACTION)
INFO: Spooky Action at Empire Seven Studios, December 2013. I wanted to explore process, restraint, and repetition in a rigorous manner. I was also curious if I could find a way “compose” visual art in a way similar to how music is made. That is, I was looking to create “compositions” that could be “played” by other visual artists in an interesting way. These gouache paintings were made using a few sets of numerical and material constraints.
